Impact on Community Life

DepokNews — PT Nusantara Integra Cipta Ekselensia (NICE) Indonesia, a community empowerment entity, was officially launched at the Aston Simatupang Hotel in South Jakarta on Wednesday (28/3). The launch event, marked by the presentation of jackets from the Commissioner to the officials of Nice Indonesia, was graced with musical performances using recycled materials.

Attended by Commissioner of NICE Indonesia Farouk Abdullah Alwyni, Chairman of NICE Indonesia Sapto Sugiharto, Chairman of Wafaa Indonesia Taufik Ramlan Wijaya, Chairman of NAMA Foundation Saleh Mubarak Bazead, and a representative from the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Sri Yuliani, the event also drew leaders from social, educational, religious institutions, and community figures.

During the occasion, Chairman of NICE Indonesia Sapto Sugiharto expressed that Indonesia is a vast nation with diverse strengths. When managed seriously, these strengths have the potential to grow into a force contributing to the development of Indonesian society.

“Therefore, NICE is present in society as a social enterprise providing capacity-building services in education and the third sector in Indonesia. NICE will strengthen communities and organizations through capacity development in fund management, the creation of programs with a strong impact on society, and human development services to realize a better Indonesia,” Sapto explained.

In alignment with Sapto’s vision, Commissioner of NICE Indonesia Faruk Abdullah emphasized that to become a great nation, all elements of society must unite, synergize, and contribute to enhancing the quality of human development and empowerment in Indonesia. “Whatever role we can play to build society, let’s play it with all our abilities. Our journey is still long, with many challenges. Let’s face them together, united for a better future for Indonesia,” stated Faruk Abdullah, who is also a Commissioner of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia.

During the same occasion, Chairman of Wafaa Indonesia Taufik Ramlan Wijaya mentioned that every social institution shares the same aspiration, which is to build human resources that can contribute to the nation. He invited all social institutions in Indonesia to collaborate in providing solutions to the nation’s problems.

“We all share the same dream of building human resources. So, we must take care of them as best as we can, so that they have a bright future, are beneficial, and can contribute to the civilization of the world. Because we want Indonesia not only to be good for itself but also for the civilization of the world,” Taufik expressed.

NICE Indonesia is set to implement several work programs in 2018, including the Leadership Forum, a program aimed at developing the talents and potential of young people in various regions of Indonesia. This program is designed to empower youth to become positive change agents and develop the talents and potential of their peers in their respective communities. Another program involves training consultants, managers, and implementers of community organizations, with the goal of ensuring the professional execution of their activities in accordance with established standards.
